Magic numbers
Position clinch / elimination
Magic numbers are in points (win = 2, tie = 1). A number counts any combination of points gained by the selected team plus points dropped by the rival. Position numbers assume the rival(s) win out; they can shrink faster when contenders play each other. Ties are broken using the CCBL's official order: (1) head-to-head record, (2) record vs. divisional opponents, (3) record vs. other teams (either division) with a higher point total, (4) total wins, (5) run differential, (6) coin flip. Three-way ties use the season-series matrix (each individual matchup, not aggregate) to peel off one team at a time before the remaining two revert to the head-to-head rule.
