Counts distinct alumni per CCBL season — a player is counted in each season they played (intentional double-counting).
The bottom charts count every player in the CCBL each season who ever reached MLB (per debut records) and their share of that season's players — recent seasons trend low because many future major-leaguers have not yet debuted. The final chart shows the reverse: the share of all MLB players in a given season who once played in the Cape League.
MLB Debuts by Year counts each CCBL alumnus once, in the year of their first MLB appearance (not every year they were subsequently active).
